Maui Paintball
Maui Paintball is a fun and safe activity for individuals, families, groups, parties, corporate team building, Maui residents and tourists alike. The field is conveniently located along the Honoapiilani Highway in the small town of Olowalu on the way to Lahaina, just a 7 minute drive from Lahaina town and only 25 minutes from Kihei.
Maui Paintball's fields span over 10 acres and contains multiple tree forts that incorporate over 50 separate trees, totaling more then 4500 square feet.
We strive to promote an exciting, fun and friendly environment that brings people together and creates lasting friendships. While an element of competition adds thrill to the game, the main focus of Maui Paintball is to have fun.

HELP US KEEP MAUI PAINTBALL ALIVE
Maui Paintball has never turned a profit. Not once in the 10+ years we’ve been open. And yet every year we’ve kept our gates open, because somewhere along the way this place became more than a business. It’s a spot where kids grow up, where families spend their Saturdays, and where our community keeps showing up for each other.
Even when money’s been tight, we’ve said yes every time Maui has called on us. We’ve hosted charity run events with Maui County. We’ve provided a helicopter landing and refueling spot during the fires that damaged our field. We’ve stood alongside the Maui Police Department, providing paintball for their Maui Teen Academy. Our food drives have put over 1,000 pounds of food on the shelves at the Maui Food Bank, and our toy drives with Friends of the Children’s Justice Center have brought some joy to keiki who’ve been through more than any child should.
We had a real plan to finally make this sustainable. For years we saved, tightened our belts, and slowly bought the equipment we needed to expand the field and turn the corner. Then the Lahaina Fire came through and took all of it. Every piece that was stored at the Lahaina Aquatic Center. Our main operations were spared, thank God, but everything we’d worked so hard to put aside for the future was gone in a single day. That said, many others faced far worse. Businesses completely destroyed, loved ones lost. So our troubles feel minimal in comparison.
Like many affected by the fire, we’re still waiting to see if any kind of settlement comes through. Even in the best case, we’re years behind where we were, and honestly, we’re short on the capital it would take to rebuild what the fire erased.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
If you’re able to give, any amount helps us keep the lights on and the field open for Maui’s youth. We don’t expect a thing from anyone, but every dollar means the world and goes straight back into this community.
To the folks who quietly show up after a windstorm to help us clean the field, and to everyone who volunteers at our annual Haunted Hunt (back again this October), you are the reason we’re still standing. We see you, and we’re so grateful.

Halloween Haunted Hunt
Walk through our haunted forest along three-quarters of a mile of red LED rope lights. Halloween Haunted Hunt returns to Maui Paintball on October 23, 24 and 30, 2026.
Tickets are $22 per person, per night, including tax and all fees. No event on October 31.
Wear closed-toe shoes. No children under 8 years of age.
